Urgent opening for the profile of Quality Engineer / Quality Inspector at location Thane, Maharashtra

Location: Thane, Maharashtra (as and when required candidate should travel outside Mumbai)

Experience: min 3 yrs (Must have experience in machine parts inspection and managing team)

Qualification: Experience 3-4 years for Diploma Holders

ITI Turner / Fitter should have 5-6 years experience

Key Skills:

• Drawing Reading Skills

  • Should have strong drawing reading skills.
  • Must understand First Angle and Third Angle projection drawings.
  • Good understanding of geometrical tolerances and symbols.
  • Knowledge of surface roughness symbols.

• Measuring Instruments for parts inspection

  • Vernier Callipers
  • Micrometres (Inside and Outside)
  • Dial Bore Gauges
  • Thread Gauges (Plug and Ring Gauges)
  • Height Gauge

• Fabrication Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of welding processes
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes and visual inspection of the welding joints
  • Ability to measure and inspect fabricated parts, including machining dimensions

• Casting parts

  • Basic understanding of inspection of the casting parts
  • Able to handle cast machine parts
  • Basic Knowledge of NDT testing (Dye Penetrant test, MPI test, UT test)

• Inspection Report Preparation

  • Ability to prepare part inspection reports as per drawings.
  • Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
