Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a motivated QA Engineer Specialist to strengthen automated testing for our global web applications. You will design robust test frameworks, write automated scripts in Playwright with JavaScript and Python, and contribute to performance testing using JMeter.

You will collaborate in an Agile setting, harnessing CI pipelines with Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes environments, and cloud testing on AWS/Azure. 2–4 years of hands-on QA experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM majors.
• 2–4 years of QA experience.
• Experience with test automation and performance testing.
• Experience with API automation testing (Postman/Playwright or RestAssured).
• Strong manual testing to derive functional, end-to-end, integration test cases.
• Familiarity with Jenkins for test execution and monitoring.
• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.

Our Power Systems Engineering team utilizes their deep knowledge of connected power grid planning, design, operation, and life‑cycle management, to offer customized solutions to our global clients. Our Power Economics team offers analyses focused on the understanding and the study of the financial and physical operation of the electric power systems including generation and grid planning, system optimization, asset valuation, competitive power markets and energy policy implications. Education in

• Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

Technical Skills

• Experience in Test Automation using Playwright and specifically writing code in Javascript and Python
• Exposure in Performance testing using JMeter
• Experience in API Automation testing, Specifically Postman/Playwright or RestAssured alongside SOAP/REST
• Strong Manual testing capabilities to derive Functional, End to End, Integration cases
• Experience in executing and monitoring automated test suites with Jenkins execution
• Experience in any Project management tools like Trello/Rally/ADO
• Knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes for testing environments
• Proficiency in Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative code reviews
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and their respective testing/deployment pipelines

• Design and implement strategies for managing complex test data across multiple environments
