Job summary

GE Vernova in Bengaluru is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to mobile and web based applications using C# & MAUI, with ReactJS frontend. You will design RESTful APIs, microservices, and data access layers, while embedding security and observability best practices.

Responsibilities include end-to-end delivery, cloud design on AWS/Azure, Docker containerization, and collaboration with product, UX, and stakeholders; mentoring peers is also expected.

We’re seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the design and development of mobile and web based applications using C# & MAUI, react technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Contribute , design, and development of RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET, ASP.NET Core (Web API, MVC), and Entity Framework
• Develop mobile platform using MAUI technology.
• Understanding of engineering best practices: SOLID principles, design patterns, code reviews, technical standards, and documentation
• Build front-end experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript with ReactJS
• Own end-to-end delivery: requirements, design, implementation, automated testing (unit, integration, UI), performance, and deployment
• Design for reliability, scalability, and security in AWS; containerize and ship services with Docker
• Work across data stores (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle), including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Implement and improve observability (logging, monitoring, alerting) and drive operational excellence
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities where appropriate to enhance product features and developer productivity
• Ensure secure development practices including SAST/DAST and remediation of findings
• Mentor and coach engineers; lead technical initiatives and collaborate with product, UX, and stakeholders

Must-have qualifications

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience with 2 to 5 Years.
