GE Vernova seeks a DevSecOps Lead to drive CI/CD automation for Grid Software deployments at customer sites, enabling secure, scalable CREs and production rollouts while advancing standards for deployment, security, and tooling.
You will collaborate across engineering, product, support, and services to industrialize environment setup, upgrades, patching, and reliability, using Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, and Kubernetes (RKE2) as core enablers.
This role leads the DevSecOps implementation of GE Vernova Grid Software products at customer sites. This is a critical, high visibility, customer-facing role to ensure regular deployments to Customer Reference Environments, Dev, QA and Production using continuous deployment (CD) automation. The role also includes contribution towards definition of standards around deployment automation, security, ecosystem tooling to enable automation and test automation. Collaborate with the customer to define an end-to-end DevSecOps process to bring CI/CD & DevOps principles to deliver GE Vernova Grid Software products to the customer environments Design, build, and maintain Customer Reference Environments (CREs) that provide a secure, scalable, and repeatable foundation for customer deployments. Develop and manage infrastructure automation and configuration management using Ansible to ensure consistency, speed, and reliability across environments. Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub to enable efficient software integration, testing, and deployment. Manage artifact storage, versioning, and release promotion processes using Artifactory to support controlled and traceable software delivery. Build deep knowledge of GE Vernova Products across performance and GridOS. Working knowledge of Kubernetes on RKE2 (Rancher) is a plus. Partner with software engineering, product, support, and services teams to industrialize environment setup, upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance activities. Monitor environment health, troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues, and drive root cause resolution to improve stability and operational excellence. Implement and enforce DevOps best practices for source control, automation, release management, and system reliability. Contribute to the creation of standards, templates, runbooks, and reusable automation assets that accelerate Evergreen adoption across customers. Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance environment provisioning, operational efficiency, resiliency, and customer experience. Participate in readiness planning for new customer deployments and ensure environments are aligned to security, compliance, and supportability expectations.
For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Services & Digital Implementation Services. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience). For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
