Job summary

OG1121 Meridium Services and Labs Private Limited is seeking a skilled software engineer for designing, building, delivering, and maintaining applications and services across cloud and on‑premise environments.

You will work with Java 11+, React/Angular, Spring Boot, and AWS EKS, focusing on scalable RESTful APIs, robust testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong database and caching expertise are expected, with optional Python knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java (11+) and React/Angular.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and enterprise apps using Spring Boot.
• Experience managing relational databases and Redis caching.
• Containerize apps with Docker; deploy via Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with AWS services, especially EKS; CI/CD familiarity.
• JUnit/Mockito for unit testing; Swagger/OpenAPI for API docs.

Job Description Summary

Responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. Working in the areas of machine, cloud, platform and/or application. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Have awareness of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
• Ability to write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• Understand performance parameters and can assess application performance.
• Understand core data structures and algorithms and has the ability to implement them using language of choice.
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the job.

Must have : Strong proficiency in Java (version 11 or higher preferred) and React / Angular. In-depth experience building RESTful APIs and enterprise applications using Spring Boot. Experience managing relational databases (RDS) and implementing high-performance caching layers using Redis. Proven ability to containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments via Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with AWS Services, specifically EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing frameworks (JUnit/Mockito), and API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).

Good to have : Working knowledge of Python Familiar with Agentic AI Framework, RabbitMQ / ActiveMQ Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts, frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch), and integrating ML models into production environments.

Education Qualification

For roles outside USA: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience. For roles in USA :Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 3+ years of experience0years

Desired Characteristics Technical Expertise:

Comfortable in building features such as web services and Queries on existing tables. Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc. Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile. Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI). General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.
