Job summary

Nxtwave Disruptive Technologies (Hiring for a Client) seeks a QA Tester (Manual & Automation) with 5-10 years of experience to support an E-invoice project for Hastraa. This fully remote offshore role is dedicated to a major banking project and will own the QA lifecycle end-to-end.

You will develop automated tests, collaborate in agile pods, support UAT, and ensure compliance with regional rules and risk management. Strong cross-border communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5-10 years of professional software testing experience (manual and automation).
• Experience in Core Banking ecosystems, Temenos T24/Transact preferred.
• Background testing financial systems workflows and e-invoicing pipelines.
• Experience building automation with Selenium, Playwright, Appium or API frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing and end-to-end functional/integration testing of banking apps.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for stability and regression.
• Work within agile pods with developers, product owners, and QA.
• Support UAT to ensure features meet business workflows and regulatory requirements.
• Track defects in JIRA and report metrics.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a QA Tester (Manual & Automation) with 5-10 years of experience to join our project engineering team for an E-invoice Project at Hastraa. This is a fully remote, offshore role dedicated to supporting a major retail/commercial banking project based in Sharjah. You will own the quality assurance lifecycle end-to-end, working within agile pods to execute functional, integration, and user acceptance testing across core banking landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing and perform end-to-end functional and integration testing of banking applications to identify defects and ensure robust quality.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the platform's stability, regression coverage, and operational performance.
• Work embedded within agile pods, closely collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, developers, and product owners.
• Support business users directly during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee that features match business workflows and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor, document, and track software bugs using defect management systems like JIRA, maintaining transparent metrics reporting.
• Ensure all test procedures align tightly with regional financial compliance, auditing rules, and corporate risk management frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of professional software testing experience covering both manual and automation layers.
• Strict Requirement: Proven, hands-on testing experience within Core Banking ecosystems, specifically with Temenos T24 / Transact platforms.
• Solid background testing financial systems workflows, e-invoicing pipelines, ledger balances, or processing architectures.
• Desirable expertise building automation structures with tools like Appium, Selenium, Playwright, or API-based Java/Python frameworks.
• Excellent cross-border stakeholder communication skills to smoothly coordinate across distant product and business groups.
