Job summary

V.S. INDUSTRY BERHAD is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to lead the quality function in Senai, Johor.

The role focuses on ensuring QC activities align with procedures, guiding the inspection plans, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in quality management within EMS or manufacturing and strong knowledge of ISO management systems, with proficiency in MS Office and presentation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within EMS or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of management systems (ISO 9001; ISO 14001; ISO 27001 and RBA code of conduct).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
• Willing to work in Senai, Johor.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QC activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and standards.
• Oversee execution of inspection plans and ensure compliance with checklists and specifications.
• Monitor quality performance, analyze trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with internal teams and customers on quality issues, including corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead, train, and motivate the quality team to achieve quality objectives.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and improvement of high defect/failure rates.
• Drive structured problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D, RCA, CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with management systems and code of conduct.
