Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Ensure QC lab functions effectively and releases RM, WIP, PM & FG per specifications using validated methods.
  • Develop QC systems aligned with ISO 9001, GMP and ICH Q7A.
  • Inspect quality plans, check lists, lab SOPs for conformance to standards and customer requirements.
  • Review and resolve quality issues with plant managers, vendors, customers and related functions.
  • Coordinate vendor development and drive zero defects and right first time.
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and implement CAPAs to reduce recurring problems.
  • Monitor key quality attributes (change controls, deviations, investigations, complaints, OOSs).
  • Conduct vendor audits for Raw & Packaging Materials; implement ISO 9001 IMS with EHS coordination.
  • Train subordinates and participate in root cause analysis of safety and quality incidents.

Job description

We are looking candidate for Manager - Quality (QC), Mahad.

Position description:

To implement the quality system for getting the required quality.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective functioning of the QC lab and ensure release of RM, WIP, PM & FG are done against the decided specifications using validated test methods.
  • Development of desired Quality control systems based on the guidelines and standards of ISO 9001, GMP and ICH Q7A
  • Hands on experience in inspecting Quality plans, check lists, lab SOPs for conformance to standards and customer requirements.
  • Reviews and resolves Quality issues / concerns with plant Managers and others including manufacturing, vendors and customers and with related functions.
  • Coordinate and assist for vendor development
  • Drive Zero defects and right first time initiatives across the operations.
  • Troubleshoot Quality issues in the manufacturing and packaging processes and perform CAPAs as necessary to reduce recurring problems through appropriate tools.
  • Keeping track by close monitoring of key quality attributes e.g. change controls, Deviations, Investigations, Complaints, OOSs etc.
  • Vendor Audits for Raw & Packaging Materials Suppliers.
  • Implementation of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, as part of IMS certification in close co-ordination with sites EHS.
  • Implementation of new systems/ departments
  • Controlling departmental activities
  • Ensuring analytical report of Raw Materials.
  • Training the subordinates.
  • Imparting training to subordinates
  • To participate in Root Cause Analysis of Various safety and quality incidents, monitor and ensure implementation of CAPA (Corrective Actions & Preventive Actions)
  • Report any near miss /incident or any non-compliance.
  • To Support Various Process safety and Responsible Care Initiatives.
Educational qualifications preferred
  • MSc. Chemistry
  • Experience : 7 to 10 yeasr
