Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, BOQs, cost estimates, and material quantity statements.
• Prepare and verify rate analysis, work orders, BBS, and contractor RA bills.
• Verify contractor measurements and quantities at site and review contractor bills and variations.
• Coordinate civil and MEP quantity estimation and billing; monitor project quantities and assist in cost control.
• Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings; coordinate with consultants for revisions.

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer / QS Engineer with 5+ years of experience in residential, commercial, high-rise, and industrial/PEB construction projects.

The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, BBS, contractor billing, project planning, drawing coordination, cost monitoring, and civil/structural/MEP coordination.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction practices, AutoCAD, MS Excel, BOQ, quantity surveying, contractor billing, and relevant IS Codes.

Role & responsibilities :

Quantity Surveying & Billing

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, BOQs, cost estimates, and material quantity statements.
• Prepare and verify rate analysis, work orders, BBS, and contractor RA bills.
• Verify contractor measurements and quantities executed at site.
• Review contractor bills, variations, extra items, and additional work claims.
• Coordinate civil and MEP quantity estimation and billing.
• Monitor project quantities and assist in cost control and reconciliation.

Project Execution & Planning

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.
• Plan construction activities, manpower, materials, and resources to meet project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Planning, Structural, MEP, and Site Execution teams.
• Identify site issues and coordinate for timely technical resolutions.
• Support construction planning and execution for high-rise residential, commercial, and industrial/PEB projects.

Drawing & Technical Coordination

• Review and coordinate architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
• Prepare, modify, and update AutoCAD drawings as required.
• Check drawings, dimensions, levels, sections, and construction details before execution.
• Coordinate with consultants and design teams for drawing revisions and technical clarifications.
• Identify drawing clashes and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Prepare and coordinate As-Built drawings.

Structural & Construction Coordination

• Review structural drawings and construction specifications.
• Prepare and verify Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Coordinate civil and structural works with architectural and MEP requirements.
• Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and site teams for smooth project execution.

Preferred candidate profile :

• B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in construction/project execution and quantity surveying.
• Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, and industrial/PEB projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying, BOQ, Rate Analysis, BBS, Contractor Billing, and Cost Estimation.
• Good knowledge of civil and structural construction activities.
• Experience in civil and MEP coordination.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Working knowledge of STAAD Pro and Bluebeam will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of relevant Indian Standard Codes IS 456, IS 800, IS 1893, etc.
• Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
