The firm's consulting model is delivery-led andclient-site based, working directly with client teams from gap assessmentthrough to certification and beyond.
2.Role Summary
The QMS Manager – Consulting is a client-facing consultingrole responsible for leading Management System implementation and certificationengagements at client locations. The role covers the full lifecycle of anengagement — gap assessment, documentation, implementation support, internalaudit, management review facilitation, and certification audit readiness —across one or more of the following standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001,IATF 16949, and AS9100. The incumbent is expected to work largely from clientpremises, adapting delivery to each client's industry, scale, and processmaturity, while representing Tattva Aventa's consulting standards andmethodology.
3.Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement &Consulting Delivery
- Serve as the lead consultant at client locations forthe design, implementation, and improvement of Management Systems conforming toISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, and AS9100.
- Conduct current-state / gap assessments against theapplicable standard(s) and present findings with a clear, time-boundimplementation roadmap to client management.
- Plan and manage the end-to-end certification projecttimeline in coordination with the client's management representative and TattvaAventa's project lead.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the clientthroughout the engagement, ensuring deliverables are met within scope, budget,and schedule.
Documentation & SystemDesign
- Develop and customize QMS/IMS documentation — qualitymanuals, process maps, SOPs, work instructions, risk registers, and forms —appropriate to the client's processes and the certifying standard.
- Guide clients in defining context, interested parties,scope, quality objectives, and risk-and-opportunity registers per the relevantclause structure (Annex SL / IATF / AS9100 requirements).
- Ensure documentation reflects real operating practiceand is fit for both certification audit and day-to-day use by client personnel.
- Deliver awareness and implementation training to clientteams on the requirements of the applicable standard(s), process approach,risk-based thinking, and (where relevant) core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA,MSA, and SPC for IATF 16949, or AS9101/AS9102 requirements for AS9100.
- Handhold client departments through practicalimplementation of documented processes, records, and controls.
- Plan and execute internal (first-party) audits with theclient, and support root-cause analysis and corrective action closure (8D /5-Why / CAPA).
- Facilitate Management Review Meetings and coach clientmanagement representatives on ongoing system ownership.
Certification Readiness& Audit Support
- Conduct pre-assessment / mock audits to confirm clientreadiness prior to Stage 1 and Stage 2 certification audits.
- Liaise with certification bodies on the client's behalfwhere required, and support closure of audit findings (nonconformities,observations, OFIs) within stipulated timelines.
- Track and support clients through surveillance andrecertification audit cycles.
Project & PracticeManagement
- Manage multiple client engagements concurrently,prioritizing effectively and escalating risks to project timelines or scope.
- Prepare and submit periodic project status reports,audit reports, and engagement documentation to internal management.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of TattvaAventa's internal consulting methodology, templates, and toolkits.
- Support business development activity where needed —client scoping calls, proposal input, and technical presentations.

Requirements
5.Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or arelated technical discipline (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Aerospace, orequivalent) is preferred.
- A postgraduate qualification in Quality Management or arelated field is an added advantage.
6.Experience Required
- 5–10 years of experience in Quality Management Systems,of which at least 3 years should be in a consulting, implementation, or leadauditor capacity.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and/or auditing atleast two of the following: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, AS9100.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, automotive, oraerospace environment is strongly preferred, particularly for IATF 16949 andAS9100 engagements.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent clientengagements or projects is desirable.
Technical
- Strong working knowledge of ISO management systemclause structure (Annex SL / High-Level Structure) and sector-specificrequirements under IATF 16949 and AS9100.
- Familiarity with core quality tools and methodologies:process approach, risk-based thinking, root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone),CAPA/8D, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC (for automotive engagements).
- Competence in internal auditing techniques; formal LeadAuditor training in one or more of the relevant standards is highly desirable.
Consulting &Interpersonal
- Strong client-facing communication and presentationskills, with the ability to explain technical requirements to personnel at alllevels, from shop floor to senior management.
- Effective training and facilitation skills forworkshops, awareness sessions, and management reviews.
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently at client sites withminimal supervision, while keeping internal stakeholders informed.
- Sound project and time management skills to handlemultiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously.
8.Desirable Certifications
- Certified Lead Auditor — ISO 9001:2015 (mandatory or tobe obtained within probation period).
- Certified Lead Auditor — ISO 14001:2015 and/or ISO45001:2018 (preferred).
- AS9100 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor certification,or AS9101/AS9102 familiarity (preferred, for aerospace-focused engagements).
This is a predominantly field-based role. The incumbentwill be based primarily at client locations for the duration of each engagementand should be prepared for extensive domestic (and occasional overseas) travel,including multi-day or multi-week stays at client sites depending on projectscope.
