Job summary

Anaqua is seeking a motivated Quality Management Specialist to lead the ISO 9001 implementation and drive a culture of quality across all departments in India. You will orchestrate gap analyses, develop policies and procedures, and coordinate audits with certification bodies.

You will train staff, monitor KPIs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to achieve and maintain ISO 9001 certification while embedding best practices throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management or equivalent.
• 2–5 years ISO 9001 implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and QMS principles.
• Experience leading ISO 9001 certification in India (initial certification).
• Internal audits experience; Lead Auditor certification is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication; ability to train stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with PDCA, root cause analysis, and process mapping.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Management Specialist to lead the implementation of the ISO 9001 quality management system (QMS) within our organization. You will play a key role in helping the company achieve and maintain certification, driving continuous improvement, and embedding a culture of quality across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Conduct a gap analysis to assess current processes against ISO 9001 requirements.
• Develop, document, and update quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Coordinate internal audits and support external certification audits.
• Train employees and department heads on ISO 9001 requirements and quality best practices.
• Monitor key quality indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Manage non-conformities, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the main point of contact with the certification body (e.g., a NABCB-accredited certifier or an international body such as Bureau Veritas, TÜV, DNV, or BSI operating in India).
• Ensure ongoing compliance and prepare the organization for surveillance and recertification audits.
• Promote a culture of quality and process ownership across teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent in, Quality Management System
• Proven experience (2–5 years, adjust as needed) in ISO 9001 implementation or quality management
• Solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and quality management principles.
• Demonstrated experience having successfully led another company in India through initial ISO 9001 certification (not just maintaining an existing certification).
• Experience conducting internal audits (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification, e.g., from NABCB/IRCA/BSI, is a strong plus).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to train and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in quality tools (e.g., PDCA, root cause analysis, process mapping).
