Egis Road Operation India is seeking a dedicated QHSE Coordinator to uphold the organization’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems. The role focuses on audits, policy development, regulatory compliance and ESG data collection to drive continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will lead internal audits, coordinate training, maintain records and support external certifications, with a strong emphasis on cross‑functional collaboration and data accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
  • 4–5 years with QHSE management, ISO compliance and auditing.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.
  • Lead or internal auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and conduct internal audits per ISO standards.
  • Develop and update QHSE policies and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE laws and ISO requirements.
  • Maintain QHSE records, reports and audit findings.
  • Prepare KPI dashboards and management reports.
  • Support external certification, surveillance and recertification.
  • Identify gaps and coordinate corrective actions with teams.
  • Deliver QHSE training and awareness programs.
  • Collect carbon data and support ESG reporting.
  • Monitor ESG metrics and KPIs across the org.

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QHSE Coordinator to support and maintain the organization's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting carbon data collection and ESG initiatives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and supporting the implementation of QHSE initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
  • Develop, review, and update organizational QHSE policies, procedures, manuals, and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE policies, applicable legal regulations, and ISO standards.
  • Monitor and maintain QHSE records, reports, audit findings, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare management reports and KPI dashboards related to QHSE performance.
  • Support the organization in preparing for external certification, surveillance, and recertification audits.
  • Identify gaps, risks, opportunities for improvement, and non-conformities; recommend and monitor corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure audit readiness, implementation of corrective actions, and promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.
  • Deliver QHSE training and awareness programs to employees on ISO standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Collect, verify, and maintain carbon emissions and sustainability-related data to support organizational reporting and environmental objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of ESG metrics, targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

What do we need from you

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline (preferred).
  • 4-5 years of experience in QHSE management systems, ISO compliance, and auditing.
  • Extensive knowledge on QHSE international and national legal frameworks and management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 1401, and ISO 4501 standards.
  • Experience supporting certification and surveillance audits.
  • Certified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation.
  • Working knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting principles, and carbon accounting methodologies.
  • Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate.
