Job summary

Neeviq in Pune is seeking an experienced Senior Tekla Checker to ensure the accuracy and quality of 3D Tekla models and GA/fabrication drawings. The role requires 7 to 10 years of overall experience with at least 3-4 years in a dedicated checking capacity, focusing on PEB steel structures and Tekla detailing.

Office-based, Monday to Friday in Pune. You will verify model integrity, ensure compliance with standards and coordinate with modelers, engineers and managers to meet project timelines and

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a Senior Tekla Checker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, quality and compliance of our structural steel deliverables from 3D Tekla models to GA and fabrication drawings before they reach our clients and fabrication partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly review and check Tekla models, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings and associated reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify all structural connections, member details, and modeling accuracy in line with project and engineering standards.
• Ensure full compliance with project specifications, fabrication requirements, client standards and applicable design codes.
• Identify discrepancies, errors or inconsistencies in models and drawings and coordinate corrective actions with the detailing team.
• Collaborate closely with modelers, engineers and project managers to uphold quality benchmarks and meet project timelines.
• Maintain detailed checking records and support continuous improvement in drawing and modeling standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Solid working knowledge of PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) structures and steel detailing practices.
• Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience specifically in checking Tekla models, connections and drawings.
• Strong command over relevant structural design and fabrication codes.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to independently identify and resolve modeling /drawing issues.
• Good coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
