Job summary

Brew (by STIR) invites CS engineering students to join a 6-month in-office internship in Delhi. You will perform diverse testing across Brew TV apps (mobile, web, OTT) and collaborate with developers and QA to ensure quality before releases.

Your role includes documenting issues with steps, reproducing bugs, and retesting fixes, while gradually learning automation and QA processes. Stipend is ₹10,000–₹15,000 per month.

• Relevant skills and interests in testing

Responsibilities

• Test Brew TV mobile apps, web platform, and OTT/TV apps across features and releases.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and negative testing.
• Identify bugs, edge cases, and unexpected behaviour from a real customer perspective.
• Document and report issues with reproduction steps and expected vs actual behaviour.
• Retest bug fixes and perform regression checks to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
• Collaborate with developers and QA team to investigate, reproduce, and resolve issues before releases.
• Help validate releases and maintain QA quality across mobile, web, and OTT/TV platforms.
• Contribute to QA processes, documentation, testing tools, and test coverage improvements

About the internship:

• Test Brew TV's mobile applications, web platform, and OTT/TV applications across new features, updates, and releases.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and negative testing to ensure features work reliably across different scenarios.
• Identify bugs, edge cases, and unexpected behaviour by thinking beyond the happy path and from a real customer's perspective.
• Document and report issues clearly with proper reproduction steps, expected and actual behaviour, and relevant details.
• Retest bug fixes and perform regression checks to ensure that existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
• Work closely with developers and the QA team to investigate, reproduce, and resolve issues before releases.
• Help validate releases and maintain the quality of Brew TV across mobile, web, and multiple OTT/TV platforms.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, QA processes, documentation, and gradually learn automation and other testing tools.
