We are a lean, fast-moving tech team building products that need to actually work — every time, every release. Quality is a shared responsibility at 3dots Tech Labs. And this role sits right at the center of it.As a QA Delivery Intern, you will be the person who catches what developers miss — broken flows, edge cases, inconsistent behavior, and regressions that slip through in the rush to ship. You will work directly with our engineering and product teams to test features before they go live, document what you find, and make sure releases are solid. This is a hands‑on execution role. You won't be sitting in meetings all day. You will be in the product — testing, breaking things, reporting clearly, and helping the team ship with confidence.
What you will actually do
- Test new features end-to-end — web and mobile — before they reach users
- Write clear, reusable test cases that cover both expected flows and edge cases
- Execute test cases systematically and log results with precision
- Report bugs with enough context for a developer to reproduce and fix them immediately — no vague reports
- Run regression tests before every release to make sure nothing old broke when something new was added
- Validate that release builds behave exactly as intended across devices and environments
- Work closely with developers to clarify expected behavior and confirm bug fixes
- Flag release blockers early — your job is to surface problems before users do
What we are looking for
- Attention to detail: You notice what others miss. You don't say "it works" until you've actually confirmed it works in every case that matters
- Ownership mindset: You treat your test coverage like it's your product. If something ships broken because you didn't catch it, that matters to you.
- Structured thinking: You can break down a feature into testable scenarios and organize your work so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Clear communication: Your bug reports don't need a follow‑up. Steps to reproduce, what happened, what was expected — clean and precise, every time.
- Reliability: You show up consistently, meet deadlines, and don't drop the ball during release crunch. The team can count on you.
Bonus if you bring this
- Basic understanding of how web or mobile apps work — what happens when you click a button, fill a form, or submit a request
- Exposure to tools like Jira, Notion, Trello, or any bug/task tracker
- Any prior experience with manual testing — even personal projects or coursework counts
- Familiarity with writing structured test cases or test plans
Who this role is for?
- A final‑year student or recent graduate (any discipline — CS, IT, or otherwise)
- A fresher looking for real, structured work experience in a product team
- Someone who's explored QA on their own and wants to go deeper with a team
- Genuinely curious about how software breaks — and driven to prevent it
- Duration: 2 months
- Working Hours: 10 AM – 7 PM
- Work Week 5 days: (Monday – Friday)
- Work Mode: Onsite – Nagercoil
Where this can take you
- Upon best performance, will receive a full‑time offer at the end of the internship. We don't hire for QA roles from outside when we've already seen how someone works up close.
How we assess your work
- We evaluate work output—not impressions—based on what you ship, how you communicate, and whether the team can rely on you. This includes the quality and coverage of testing, the clarity and completeness of bug reports, your ownership and consistency throughout the internship, and your cross‑team communication and collaboration.
