Job summary

AssetCues in Pune is offering a full-time, in-office QA internship for CS engineering students. You will work on understanding product requirements, designing and executing test scenarios, and supporting automation efforts over a 6-month period.

Stipend ranges from INR 10,000 to 20,000 per month, with certificate and informal dress code perks. The internship focuses on manual testing, Jira, Postman, and Agile practices while using AI tools to aid test case generation and regression analysis.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science engineering.
• Demonstrates interest in QA and quality processes.
• Familiarity with testing concepts and tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria, and identify gaps, risks, and edge cases early.
• Design thorough test scenarios including functional, negative, regression, smoke, exploratory, UI, and API testing.
• Execute manual test cases and document observations with attention to detail.
• Log, track, retest, and follow up on defects with clear reproduction steps, evidence, severity, and business impact.
• Assist in building, maintaining, and improving automated test scripts and suites for repetitive and high-impact scenarios.
• Use AI tools to generate test ideas, draft test cases, create test data, assist with automation scripting, summarize failures, and support regression analysis, while validating outputs.
• Analyze current QA processes and suggest practical improvements that increase automation coverage and reduce manual effort.
• Prepare clear test reports, test summaries, and release-readiness updates for stakeholders.

• 3. Execute manual test cases and document observations with strong attention to detail.
• 4. Log, track, retest, and follow up on defects with clear reproduction steps, evidence, severity, and business impact.
• 5. Assist in building, maintaining, and improving automated test scripts and suites for repetitive and high-impact scenarios.
• 6. Use AI tools responsibly to generate test ideas, draft test cases, create test data, assist with automation scripting, summarize failures, and support regression analysis, while validating all outputs before use.
• 7. Analyze current QA processes and suggest practical improvements that increase automation coverage and reduce repetitive manual effort.
• 8. Prepare clear test reports, test summaries, and release-readiness updates for stakeholders.
