Job summary

Qloron Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced QA / Functional Tester to ensure end-to-end validation of web applications and multiple user journeys. The candidate will perform API testing with Postman, validate REST endpoints, and apply strong SQL queries for data checks.

Experience with microservices, SDLC/STLC processes, and defect tracking tools like Jira or qTest is essential. Knowledge of mortgage/finance applications and AI-assisted testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in API testing, including REST APIs and validation of requests/responses.
• Strong SQL skills for backend and data validation with joins and complex queries.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed service testing.
• Familiarity with SDLC/STLC processes and test management/defect tracking tools like Jira or qTest.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional and API test cases across multi-step user journeys.
• Validate end-to-end workflows and web application behavior in complex integrations.
• Manage defects and track their lifecycle through to resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery, understand business requirements, and apply AI-assisted testing workflows where applicable.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced QA / Functional Tester with strong expertise in functional testing, end-to-end application validation, and web application testing across multiple workflows and user journeys. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API testing , particularly REST APIs, including request/response validation using tools such as Postman, along with strong SQL skills for backend and data validation using joins and complex queries. The candidate should have a good understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed service testing and be comfortable working in complex, fast-paced environments involving multiple integrations and dependencies. The role requires experience with test case design, test execution, defect lifecycle management, SDLC/STLC processes , and test management/defect tracking tools such as Jira, qTest, or similar platforms. Experience in Mortgage and/or Finance applications is preferred, along with the ability to understand business requirements and ensure high-quality delivery. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Good-to-have skills include an understanding of AI/Generative AI concepts , working experience with Claude or AI-assisted testing/workflows , and exposure to test automation .
