Job summary

Starhold in India is seeking a seasoned software tester to strengthen quality assurance across API, UI and end-to-end testing. You will design and execute test scenarios, validate integrations, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.

The role demands hands-on API testing and automation, strong SQL skills, and experience with cloud-based workflows. Familiarity with API technologies like REST, OAuth 2.0 and gRPC is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and QA.
• Hands-on API testing, automation and integration testing.
• UI test automation and end-to-end testing across multiple systems.
• Solid knowledge of REST, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience with cloud applications and event-driven workflows.
• Familiarity with OHIP/OPERA Cloud APIs, gRPC and Protocol Buffers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.


• Strong hands-on experience in API Testing, API Automation and API Integration Testing .


• Hands-on experience in UI Test Automation .


• Strong experience in Integration and End-to-End Testing across multiple systems.


• Good knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS and OAuth 2.0 .


• Hands-on experience with Postman, SoapUI or equivalent API testing tools .


• Experience in Hardware Access Validation and software-to-hardware integration testing.


• Good knowledge of SQL and backend data validation .


• Experience testing cloud applications, event-driven/asynchronous workflows and error/retry scenarios .


• Knowledge of OHIP / OPERA Cloud APIs, gRPC, Protocol Buffers or HTTP/2 is desirable.
