JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test / QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and API-based applications through robust testing strategies, automation frameworks, and defect management processes. The role requires strong hands‑on experience in test case design, automation tools, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing to validate application behavior.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Cypress.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or equivalent frameworks.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using Jira and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test reports.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and QA reviews in an Agile environment.
• Ensure product quality by validating UI, workflows, integrations, and data consistency.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation frameworks, and QA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in software testing / quality assurance.
• Strong hands‑on experience in manual testing and automation testing.
• Proficiency in Selenium and Cypress for test automation.
• Solid experience in API testing and validation of RESTful services.
• Strong expertise in test case creation, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Experience working with Jira for bug tracking and test management.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
