Job summary

3i Infotech, a Mumbai-based technology services company, is seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 2–4 years of experience to validate application functionality and ensure software quality through manual testing processes.

You will analyze requirements, design and execute test cases, perform functional, regression, integration and system testing, track defects, and report testing status to stakeholders while collaborating with developers and business analysts in an Agile environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester with 2–4 years of experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for validating application functionality, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality of software products through comprehensive manual testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents.
• Create, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Validate fixes and perform retesting of resolved defects.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders.
• Ensure software quality standards and best practices are followed throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Good understanding of databases and SQL queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of API Testing using Postman.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), or Enterprise Applications is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
