Job summary

TechPerspect Software Private Limited in Noida is seeking a QA Manual Test Engineer with 3–4.5 years of manual QA experience to join our on-site team. You will perform functional testing and collaborate with development and QA colleagues to improve testing processes and tools.

You will design and execute test cases, analyze results, report defects, and participate in reviews. The role requires testing web and mobile apps, familiarity with SDLC/STLC, and experience with JIRA or HP ALM.

Qualifications

• 3-4.5 years of manual QA experience.
• Experience testing web and mobile (iOS/Android) apps.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Rational ClearQuest).
• Ability to create test plans, cases, scripts, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Create functional test designs (scenarios & test cases) for manual testing and execute test cases.
• Coordinate with Process, Development, QA teams for effective Test Cycle Release.
• Analyze test results, identify issues and report bugs.
• Participate in test reviews and provide clarifications as needed.
• Ensure all testing deliverables & reports are version controlled and accessible.

The QA Analyst will be primarily responsible for extensive functional testing. This position will work closely with the development team to improve the existing frameworks and tools to improve system productivity, Assist Senior Test Analysts and provide support and report directly to Test Lead.

Responsibilities

• To create functional test design (Test Scenarios & Test Cases) for manual testing and execute test cases.
• To coordinate with multiple teams (Process, Development, QA) for effective Test Cycle Release.
• To analyse test results, identify issues and report bugs.
• To Participate in test reviews & provide required support and clarifications as needed.
• To ensure all testing deliverable & reports are version controlled and accessible.

Required Skills

• Experience in testing both web-based and iOS/Android applications.
• Experience in Systems Integration Testing and System Testing.
• Understanding of SDLC models like Waterfall, Agile.
• Knowledge of testing process and activities (STLC).
• Ability to excel in usage of different tools.
• Experienced in creating and developing Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Reports, and Defect Reports for Manual tests and automated tests.
• Extensively performed Functional, System, Regression testing, and Sanity testing.
• Experience in Defect Tracking tools such as HP ALM Quality Center, Rational Clear Quest, and JIRA.
• Any experience in configuration/implementation of BPM or document management tools would be a plus
