Job summary

SRS Consulting Inc in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced QA Manual Test Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on software testing. You will design and execute test cases, identify defects, validate functionality, and contribute to high-quality releases.

Responsibilities include preparing test plans, scenarios, data and reports; performing functional, regression, integration, system, smoke and UAT testing; and collaborating with developers, BAs and product owners.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing / QA.
• Strong knowledge of STLC and Defect Life Cycle.
• Hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases.
• Strong experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and System Testing.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail, ALM, or similar.
• Good understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and testing methodologies.
• Basic understanding of SQL/database testing is preferred.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Perform defect retesting and regression testing after bug fixes.

• Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a testing perspective.
• Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain testing documentation.
• Analyze test results and provide clear status reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support production validation and troubleshoot issues reported by end users.
• Continuously improve QA processes, testing methodologies, and overall product quality.
