DYNATHERM ALLOYS PRIVATE LIMITED - India is seeking a QA/QC Inspector for our heat exchanger and pressure vessel production unit near Chennai. You will inspect materials, perform stage and final inspections, and ensure compliance with ASME/IS standards while maintaining quality records and CAPA actions.

Candidates must have Level II NDT and CSWIP certifications, hands-on experience with heat exchangers and boilers, the ability to read drawings, and proficiency with precision measuring tools; you

Formación

• Mandatory - Level II NDT & CSWIP certification.
• Mandatory - Prior quality experience in heat exchangers & boilers industry.
• Prepare QAP & maintain quality documents (Dossier, inspection reports, MTCs, WPS/PQR, QAPs).
• Strong QC/QA skills with inspection, testing and documentation experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with standard measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, welding gauges).
• Perform stage-wise and final inspections of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and fabricated components.
• Conduct dimensional checks per engineering drawings and ASME/IS standards.
• Perform weld inspection, visual testing and NDT (UT, RT, PT, MT) with third-party agencies.
• Ensure welding documentation is maintained (Weld Maps, WPS, PQR, WPQ).
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies (Lloyds, BV, TUV).
• Document non-conformities and implement CAPA.

Role Description

*Candidates from Heat Exchangers, Vessels, Boiler & Tanks fabrication background only*

• This role is a full-time, on-site (production unit) based near Chennai - Chengalpattu highway
• Inspecting, Testing materials and finished products to ensure they meet defined quality standards and specifications.
• To monitor production processes, document test results, analyze data, and identify root causes of defects or non-conformities.
• Collaborating with production, engineering, and management teams to implement corrective and preventive actions, as well as maintaining quality records and supporting internal and external audits.
• The role also requires participation in continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to all safety and compliance guidelines within the facility.

Qualifications

• Mandatory - Level II NDT & CSWIP certification.
• Mandatory - Prior quality based experience with heat exchangers & boilers industry.
• Prepare QAP & maintain quality documents like Dossier, inspection reports, material test certificates (MTCs), WPS/PQR records, and QAPs
