Job summary

Lloyds Steels in Mumbai is seeking a diligent QA/QC Inspector to conduct stage-wise QA/QC inspection of boilers and pressure parts, and to review welding, fit-up and dimensional accuracy. You will also coordinate with customers, inspectors and vendors to ensure documentation is complete and compliant.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of boiler fabrication, welding and NDT, with familiarity of ASME, IBR and ISO 9001 standards, and readiness to witness tests and manage quality dossiers.

Responsibilities

• Stage-wise QA/QC inspection of boilers and pressure parts.
• Inspect welding, fit-up, dimensional accuracy and fabrication.
• Review WPS, PQR and Welder Qualification Records.
• Coordinate/witness NDT RT, UT, MT, PT & VT.
• Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic and performance testing.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, IBR, ISO and customer requirements.
• Handle MTCs, NCRs, inspection reports, MRB and quality dossiers.
• Coordinate with customers, TPI agencies, vendors and regulatory/boiler inspectors.
• Good knowledge of boiler manufacturing, pressure-vessel fabrication, welding and NDT.
• Knowledge of ASME, IBR and ISO 9001.
