Senior QA/QC Manager IT & AI Products

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA/QC Manager with 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, preferably across IT products, SaaS platforms, AI/ML products, and enterprise applications.

The candidate will be responsible for leading QA/QC activities, defining testing strategies, managing quality processes, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our technology products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA/QC function and testing team.
• Develop and implement QA strategies, test plans, processes, and quality standards.
• Manage functional, integration, regression, system, API, performance, and UAT testing.
• Review requirements and identify quality and technical risks early in the development lifecycle.
• Design and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
• Lead automation testing initiatives and improve automation coverage.
• Manage defect identification, tracking, prioritization, root-cause analysis, and closure.
• Ensure quality and release readiness across web, mobile, APIs, and backend applications.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, AI/ML, DevOps, and Business teams.
• Establish QA metrics and monitor defect leakage, test coverage, automation coverage, and release quality.
• Support CI/CD-based testing and continuous quality improvement.
• For AI/ML products, validate model outputs, accuracy, consistency, edge cases, and overall product behaviour.
• Conduct quality reviews and provide QA sign-off before production releases.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers and build a strong quality-focused culture.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Software QA/QC, Testing, or Quality Engineering.
• Strong experience with IT products, SaaS, enterprise software, or AI-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and QA methodologies.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in API testing, REST APIs, SQL/database testing, and integration testing.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Postman, TestRail, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, Git, cloud environments, and software release processes.
• Experience managing QA teams and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred

• Experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM-based applications, or AI-powered SaaS products.
• Knowledge of AI model validation and evaluation.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• ISTQB or other relevant QA certification is a plus.
