Job summary

SRSD Infrastructure Venture LLP- MUREC is seeking a senior QA/QC professional to develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems for real estate projects in Ghaziabad. You will ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and IS Codes, NBC, and ISO standards.

1. Quality Management System

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC policies, procedures, and quality management systems for real estate projects.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable standards.
• Establish quality benchmarks and inspection procedures for all stages of construction.
• Monitor effective implementation of quality assurance processes across project sites.
• Drive continuous improvement in construction quality and reduce recurring defects.

2. Site Quality Control

• Oversee QA/QC activities for RCC, structural works, reinforcement, shuttering/formwork, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, painting, finishing, and MEP works.
• Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Identify construction defects, deviations, and workmanship issues and ensure timely rectification.
• Ensure proper quality checks at critical stages before work proceeds to the next activity.

3. Inspection & Testing

• Develop and monitor implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Ensure proper inspection of incoming construction materials.
• Monitor concrete cube testing, material testing, field testing, laboratory testing, and other quality tests.
• Ensure test reports and material approvals are properly documented.
• Coordinate with approved laboratories and testing agencies wherever required.
• Verify quality certificates, test certificates, and compliance documents for construction materials.

4. NCR & Corrective Action Management

• Review and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) raised during project execution.
• Identify root causes of quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor closure of NCRs, quality observations, and punch points within defined timelines.
• Maintain records of recurring quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure contractors comply with corrective action requirements.

5. Coordination with Consultants & Project Teams

• Coordinate with project consultants, architects, structural consultants, contractors, and site engineers to resolve quality issues.
• Participate in consultant inspections, quality review meetings, and project coordination meetings.
• Provide technical guidance to execution teams on quality-related matters.
• Ensure timely closure of consultant/client observations.
• Act as the key point of contact for project-level QA/QC matters.

6. Quality Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor overall quality performance of projects.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly QA/QC reports to senior management.
• Track quality KPIs, NCRs, inspection status, test results, and corrective actions.
• Analyze quality trends and recommend improvement measures.
• Maintain quality dashboards and project quality records.

7. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and manage the QA/QC team comprising Managers, Engineers, Inspectors, and Technicians.
• Plan manpower deployment according to project requirements.
• Train and develop QA/QC personnel on construction quality standards and procedures.
• Establish accountability and performance standards for the quality team.
• Promote a strong quality-focused culture across project teams and contractors.

8. Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure proper maintenance of:
• Inspection reports
• Material approvals
• Test certificates
• Quality checklists
• ITPs
• Method statements
• NCRs
• Quality audit reports
• As-built quality documentation
• Ensure compliance with company quality policies and applicable IS Codes, NBC, project specifications, and ISO quality standards.
• Maintain complete documentation for client, consultant, and internal audits.
