Job summary

Mantle Solutions is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead multiple QA teams and drive delivery of high-quality software products. The role emphasizes hands-on manual and automation testing, strategic QA planning, and collaboration with Development, Product, and Project Management.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in QA, strong leadership, and a proven track record in SDLC/QA methodologies, test planning, and implementing automation frameworks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
• Strong hands-on and managerial experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
• Proven experience managing multiple QA teams and coordinating testing activities across different projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and QA methodologies.
• Experience in test planning, estimation, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and testing tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, resources, and multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor multiple QA teams across different projects.
• Define and implement QA strategies, processes, standards, and best practices.
• Oversee both manual and automation testing activities.
• Review and improve existing testing processes to increase efficiency and product quality.
• Plan and manage test strategies, test plans, test cases, and execution activities.
• Ensure adequate test coverage across functional, regression, integration, system, and other relevant testing areas.
• Drive automation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve automation coverage.
• Monitor QA team performance, testing progress, defects, and project quality metrics.
• Coordinate with Development, Product, Project Management, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify project risks, quality issues, and potential bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Establish and track QA KPIs and prepare regular quality reports for management.
• Conduct regular reviews of testing processes, deliverables, and team performance.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and skill development of QA professionals.
• Ensure adherence to defined QA processes, standards, and documentation requirements.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

• Relevant QA/testing certifications such as ISTQB would be an advantage.
