Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Bangalore is seeking a QE Lead with 8 to 12 years of QA experience to champion an automation-first quality strategy across cross-functional product teams. You will drive high-quality, reliable software delivery.

In this role you design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and perform automated functional, regression, API and performance testing. Collaboration and ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of QA or quality engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in test automation with Playwright and Selenium (Java).

Responsibilities

• Own and drive product quality across the delivery lifecycle.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Implement and improve continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and execute automated functional, regression, API, and performance tests.
• Perform performance and load testing with K6, Locust, or JMeter.
• Review backlogs and roadmaps to identify risks and QA priorities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Define and track key quality metrics (automation coverage, defect leakage).
• Coach and mentor engineers on QA best practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership to improve quality standards.
