Overview
We are seeking a results-driven QA Lead with a strong foundation in automation frameworks and testing strategies to lead quality initiatives across our healthcare solutions. The ideal candidate brings technical depth, domain understanding, and hands-on experience in building scalable, efficient QA practices within Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of test strategies with a primary focus on automated test coverage for UI, API, and backend components.
- Build and maintain robust, reusable test frameworks to support ongoing development and release cycles.
- Define and enforce quality standards and processes across projects, driving early defect detection and consistent delivery.
- Collaborate closely with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure testability, reliability, and performance of releases.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and monitor quality metrics to identify improvement areas.
- Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and all phases of the software development lifecycle to embed a quality-first approach.
- Apply healthcare domain knowledge to validate critical user journeys and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Tech or MCA from a reputed college or university.
- 6-9 years of experience in software testing, with a significant portion spent on test automation and functional knowledge in the healthcare domain.
- Strong command of tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks (like Selenium).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test lifecycle management, and risk-based testing approaches.
- Experience working in Agile teams, collaborating across geographies and time zones.
- Familiarity with healthcare workflows, compliance standards, and working with US/UK clients.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Define and drive quality metrics, processes, and standards.
- Define test scope, objectives, timelines, resource needs, and risk assessments for each project.
- Perform hands-on testing when needed, especially during high-risk or critical releases.
