Job summary

Bridge Global seeks an experienced QA Lead to drive quality engineering for a healthcare EMR platform. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic QA responsibilities across functional, API, and automation testing.

The ideal candidate will have strong healthcare QA experience, with EMR/EHR knowledge, HL7/FHIR familiarity, and expertise in QA automation using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and Postman. Collaboration with Product, Eng, DevOps and security teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 712 years of experience in Software QA, with at least 2-3 years in a QA Lead/Test Lead role.
• Strong experience in Healthcare / EMR / EHR / Hospital Management Systems.
• Lead and manage the QA team across functional, integration, regression, automation, and release testing.
• Define and implement overall QA strategy, test plans, processes, and quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of patient registration, appointments, encounters, clinical records, prescriptions, lab reports, billing, and insurance workflows.
• Hands-on experience in functional, integration, API, database, and regression testing.
• Strong SQL and backend data-validation skills.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or similar tools.
• Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability is preferred.
• Understanding of HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, security, RBAC, and audit trails.
• Experience with performance testing and tools such as JMeter is an advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong defect management, root-cause analysis, and production support experience.
• Mentor QA engineers and conduct test-case and automation reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, Security, and healthcare domain teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to lead quality engineering for a healthcare Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare software testing, preferably with EMR/EHR, hospital management systems, clinical applications, or healthcare SaaS platforms. The role requires a hands-on QA leader who can own the overall quality strategy, lead the QA team, work closely with product and engineering teams, and ensure that the platform is functionally reliable, secure, interoperable, and safe for clinical use. The candidate should be comfortable testing complex workflows involving patients, doctors, appointments, encounters, clinical documentation, prescriptions, laboratory results, billing, insurance, medical records, and healthcare integrations.
