Job summary

The NineHertz is seeking a QA Automation Lead to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for enterprise-scale projects across BFSI, Healthcare, and Logistics. You will drive zero-defect delivery with CI/CD integration and strong collaboration with global clients.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Java, REST Assured, JUnit, Jenkins, Cucumber, and API Testing, plus exposure to Playwright, Appium, and GitLab CI in modern pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in API/UI/integration testing and CI/CD integration.
• Mentoring QA engineers in automation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks.
• Architect end-to-end test strategies across API, UI, and integration layers.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
• Mentor QA engineers in automation tools, scripting, and data management.
• Collaborate with Dev, Product, and Ops to embed quality gates and promote TDD.
• Monitor execution KPIs and drive improvements to reduce defects.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks using industry best practices.


• Architect end-to-end test strategies aligned with Agile/Scrum delivery cycles, ensuring test coverage for API, UI, and integration layers.


• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) to enable continuous feedback and rapid regression cycles.


• Mentor and upskill QA engineers on advanced automation tools, scripting, and test data management techniques.


• Collaborate with Dev, Product, and Ops teams to embed quality gates, enforce test-driven development (TDD), and improve defect escape rates.


• Monitor test execution KPIs (pass/fail rate, flakiness, coverage) and implement improvements to reduce technical debt and increase ROI.
