Job summary

Utrade Solutions invites a seasoned QA Lead to guide a Manual & Automation testing team across projects in Mohali, ensuring high-quality releases for mobile and web apps, while coordinating with Dev, BA, Product, and Deployment teams.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of testing experience, strong SDLC/STLC knowledge, hands-on testing in Manual and API, and automation with Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Rest Assured; familiarity with AI-driven QA approaches is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual & Automation).
• Experience leading QA teams and managing testing deliverables.
• Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC, Defect Life Cycle, Testing methodologies and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in Manual Testing, API Testing & exposure to Automation Testing.
• Good knowledge of Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Rest Assured, WinAppDriver.
• Experience with database testing using SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Experience in Software Testing and Mobile Application Testing (Android/iOS).
• Understanding of security testing concepts and QA processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and execute Test Plans , Test Cases , Test Scenarios , Regression Test Suites
• Perform various testing activities, including Functional Testing , Smoke Testing , Sanity Testing , Regression Testing , Ad-hoc Testing , Retesting , UI Testing
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.
• Work on automation testing using tools/frameworks such as Selenium , Rest Assuredz , WinAppDriver
• Identify, track, and report defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Coordinate effectively with Development, BA, Product, and Deployment teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
• Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to QA process improvements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
• Explore and implement AI-driven testing approaches wherever applicable.
