Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java for developing test automation scripts.
• 8+ years of experience with Selenium WebDriver for automating web application testing.
• 3+ years in banking/financial services domain with regulatory knowledge (KYC, AML, Payments, Core Banking).
• Proficiency with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Exposure to AI tools like Windsurf, Claude; experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber or JBehave.
• Strong OOP, version control (Git, SVN); familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI); JIRA; SQL for DB testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; lead design/development of automation frameworks using Java & Selenium WebDriver.
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to define automation scope, strategy, and test plans for banking apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of robust, scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based banking applications with comprehensive coverage.
• Utilize and extend existing automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber) and adopt new tools to enhance testing capabilities.
• Apply banking product/process knowledge (KYC, AML, Payments, Core Banking, Trading) to craft relevant test scenarios.
