Job summary

Virtusa is seeking a QA Automation Tester for Pune to design, develop, and maintain robust automated tests for web-based banking applications. You will lead automation initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure comprehensive test coverage using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and modern frameworks.

The ideal candidate has extensive Selenium experience, strong Java skills, and familiarity with banking regulations and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Java for developing test automation scripts.
• Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver for automating web application testing (8+ years).
• Experience in banking/financial services domain with compliance needs.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Exposure to AI tools like Windsurf and Claude.
• Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or JBehave.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of robust automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to define automation scope, strategy, and test plans for banking apps.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web banking applications with comprehensive coverage.
• Extend existing frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber) and explore new tools to enhance testing capabilities.
