Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a QA Manager to define and drive departmental testing strategies, governance, and best practices across teams. You will mentor QA engineers, partner with stakeholders, and translate complex technical work into concise business updates for senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in QA, 2+ years in a leadership role, and strong English communication for workshops and documentation, with experience in Agile and DevSecOps environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in defining and delivering departmental Testing Strategies and governance frameworks across multiple teams and regions.
• Must Have strong stakeholder management to partner with applications testing teams and Departments for data analysis and trend reporting.
• Demonstrates strategic leadership and continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to learn and share learnings.
• Able to translate complex technical deliveries into concise business summaries for senior leadership at director level.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, including experience of managing workshops and writing best practice documentation.
• Proven leadership of a QA communities of practice and aligning testing strategy with business goals.
• Proven record of mentoring and guiding a team of QA engineers and technical leads in testing consultancy.
• Good understanding of industry best practices in manual and automated testing.
• 6+ years of QA experience, 2+ years in a QA Manager or QA Department Lead role.
• Familiar with Agile software development and DevSecOps delivery processes and tools (JIRA, Confluence, GIT).
• Able to work in a fast paced, team-focused environment with a proven record of delivering tasks.

What you will bring to the role

• Proven experience in defining and delivering departmental Testing Strategies and governance frameworks including best practices across multiple teams and regions - Must Have & Strong
• Must Have & Strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to build partnership with applications testing teams and Departments to conduct data analysis and present raw data in a simplified manner, displaying trend analysis, and highlighting key testing gaps in testing practices and processes - Must Have & Strong
• Demonstrates a strategic leadership, ability to influence a positive cultural shift, continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to learn and share learnings with others - Must Have & Strong
• Demonstrates ability to translate complex technical deliveries into clear, concise business summaries tailored for senior leadership at the director level - Must Have & Strong
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, including experience of managing workshops and writing best practice documentation Must Have & Strong
• Proven leadership of a QA communities of practice and aligning testing strategy with business goals – Must Have & Strong
• Proven record of mentoring and guiding a team of QA engineers, technical lead(s) in delivering testing consultancy, working with project teams to achieve the programmer goals following the testing best practices & guidelines – Must Have & Strong
• Good understanding of industry best practices in manual and automated testing – Should Have & Moderate
• 6+ years of QA experience, 2+ years in a QA Manager or QA Department Lead role.
• Familiar with Agile software development and DevSecOps delivery processes (burndown metrics, backlog tracking, velocity, task definition, retrospectives, and defect management) and supporting tools, e.g., JIRA, Confluence, GIT, etc.
• Able to work in a fast paced, team focused environment with a proven record of delivering and completing assigned tasks as an individual and as team.
