Job summary

Ascendion in Gurugram (Sector 30) — a leader in AI-native software engineering — is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer for Salesforce CRM with 4–6 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce CRM applications.

You will design and execute functional test scenarios, validate Lightning configurations, perform API testing using Postman, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions for Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on Salesforce CRM functional testing.
• Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Lightning applications, including Flows, validation rules, profiles, and permission sets.
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), test case design, regression testing, and defect management.
• Experience with API and integration testing using Postman or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for Salesforce CRM applications.
• Validate Salesforce Lightning configurations, including Flows, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, and page layouts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Conduct API and integration testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects through closure using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, test planning, test execution, and quality assurance activities.
• Ensure high-quality software releases through thorough functional validation.

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer – Salesforce CRM with 4–6 years of experience in functional testing. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce CRM applications by designing and executing comprehensive test scenarios, validating Salesforce configurations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce Lightning functional testing, STLC, and API testing using Postman or similar tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), test case design, regression testing, and defect management.
• Experience with API and integration testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in the Insurance domain is preferred.
