Job summary

Ascendion seeks an experienced QA Engineer specialized in Salesforce Claims. You will own end-to-end QA across the STLC, validating claims lifecycle workflows, Lightning components, and API integrations.

The role requires strong Salesforce knowledge, 5–7 years of hands-on test experience, and close collaboration with BAs, developers, and product stakeholders. Hybrid work in Bangalore or Gurugram is offered.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of QA/Test Engineer experience with strong Salesforce Claims knowledge.
• Hands-on testing across the full STLC from requirements to test closure.
• Experience validating Salesforce Lightning workflows and customizations.

Responsibilities

• Own QA activities across the complete STLC (requirements analysis to test closure).
• Analyze requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios and risks.
• Design and execute functional, system, integration, regression and E2E tests for Salesforce Claims apps.
• Validate critical Claims lifecycle workflows: intake, assignment, reserves, payments, closures.
• Validate Salesforce Lightning workflows, rules, profiles, permissions, and customizations.
• Perform API/integration testing with connected applications.
• Prepare test scenarios, cases, data, traceability, execution evidence and reports.
• Manage defects through logging, triage, retesting and closure.
• Ensure regression coverage and release-readiness for changes.
• Collaborate with BAs, Developers, Product Owners, Automation Engineers and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and quality discussions.

Job Title :: QA Engineer (Salesforce Claims)

Location :: Bangalore or Gurugram (Hybrid - 2-3 days in a week onsite)

Role Summary

• We are looking for an experienced QA Test Engineer with 5 – 7 years of experience with strong Salesforce Claims functional knowledge and extensive hands-on experience across the complete Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). The role will be responsible for end-to-end quality validation, from requirements analysis and test planning through test execution, defect management, regression, release validation, and test closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own QA activities across the complete STLC, including requirement analysis, test planning, test design, execution, defect management, regression, release validation, and test closure.
• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios, dependencies, coverage gaps, and quality risks.
• Design and execute functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests for Salesforce Claims applications.
• Validate critical Claims lifecycle workflows, including claim intake/creation, assignment, assessment, reserves, payments, recoveries, and closure, as applicable.
• Validate Salesforce Lightning workflows, business rules, Flows, validation rules, profiles, roles, permissions, and customizations.
• Perform API and integration testing across Salesforce Claims and connected upstream/downstream applications.
• Prepare and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test data, traceability, execution evidence, and test reports.
• Manage defects through logging, triage, root-cause analysis, retesting, and closure.
• Ensure adequate regression coverage and release-readiness validation for application changes.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, Automation Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, defect triage, test-status reporting, and quality discussions.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Salesforce Claims functional knowledge and hands-on testing experience.
• Very strong hands-on experience across the complete STLC, from requirements analysis through test closure.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Claims lifecycle and business workflows.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Lightning application testing.
• Strong experience in test planning, test design, execution, defect management, regression, and test reporting.
• Strong knowledge of functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience validating Salesforce Flows, business rules, validation rules, profiles, roles, permissions, and customizations.
• Hands-on experience with API and integration testing, using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Strong experience in defect triage, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, retesting, and closure.
• Experience with test-data preparation, requirements traceability, and test evidence management.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and Quality Engineering practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
