Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services is seeking a QA Consultant based in Mumbai Sewri to join a client project. The role requires 3–6 years of QA/testing experience, strong testing skills across Web, API, UI, and functional areas, and hands-on experience with test design and debugging. The candidate must be Mumbai-based and able to work 5 days a week from the client office in Sewri.

Budget is 150K–250K annually. Education required is B.Tech/BE in CS/IT/ECE/EnC/EnE.

Responsibilities

• Work with development and Agile teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Analyze test failures and perform root-cause analysis and debugging.

Job Description:

We are looking for a QA Consultant with strong experience in software testing and Agile delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Web, API, UI, Functional, Regression, Smoke, Exploratory and End-to-End testing.
• Participate in the Software Development Lifecycle, specifically in test design, execution and debugging.
• Work towards successful implementation of integrated solutions within the portfolio.
• Analyze test failures and perform detailed troubleshooting/root-cause analysis.
• Prepare test plans and write effective test scripts.
• Work closely with development and Agile teams to identify and resolve defects.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies.
• Good understanding of test management tools and testing processes.
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Hands‑on experience in analyzing and debugging test failures.
• Experience working in an Agile software development methodology.
• Good skills in test planning and test script writing.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3–6 years of relevant QA/testing experience.
• Experience working as a QA Tester in a minimum of 2 projects.
• B.Tech/BE degree in Computer Science, IT, ECE/EnC or EnE.
• Must be Mumbai-based and willing to work 5 days a week from the client office in Sewri.
