Job summary

AI Infotech Chennai is seeking an experienced QA Test Lead / Test Manager to drive end-to-end quality engineering across multiple projects. The candidate will define QA strategies, manage teams, and oversee manual, automated, API, and UI testing, with emphasis on AI-assisted QA practices.

You will coordinate with Product, Development, Scrum, and DevOps teams, and contribute to cloud-based testing and DevOps validation. Strong leadership and hands-on testing expertise are required.

Qualifications

Total IT experience: 12–18 years.
Minimum 5–7+ years in QA / Software Testing.
5+ years in a Test Lead / Test Manager role.
Proven experience managing QA teams and multiple projects.
Strong experience in test planning, execution, automation, and quality management.
Experience with AI-assisted QA tools such as Microsoft Copilot and/or Claude AI is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, processes, and quality standards.
Lead and manage QA teams across multiple projects.
Plan, review, and oversee Manual, Automation, API, and UI Testing activities.
Review requirements and acceptance criteria and identify testable scenarios.
Design and review test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test coverage.
Perform and oversee API testing using Postman, Swagger, and Karate.
Lead UI testing activities including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, cross-browser, responsive, and end-to-end testing.
Build, maintain, and review UI automation frameworks using Playwright and/or Selenium.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Use Microsoft Copilot and/or Claude AI for test data generation, automation script optimization, and defect investigation.
Track and manage defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar tools.
Monitor QA metrics, testing progress, quality risks, and release readiness.
Collaborate with Product, Development, Scrum, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
Support cloud-based testing and DevOps validation activities.
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, automation, and quality engineering practices.
