Job summary

Beyond Border Consultants is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web, API, and mobile SaaS platforms. You will own end-to-end test strategy and collaborate with product, dev, and DevOps teams in CI/CD to ensure high quality releases.

You will lead exploratory testing, define QA KPIs, and mentor junior engineers while driving continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with Selenium-based automation for web/API/mobile platforms.
• Proficient in Java with TestNG framework and REST API validation.
• Experience integrating test suites in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites for web, API, and mobile SaaS platforms using industry-standard frameworks.
• Own end-to-end test strategy—functional, regression, integration, and performance—for core product modules and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with developers in CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality gates and accelerate release cycles.
• Lead exploratory testing sessions to uncover edge cases, usability flaws, and security gaps.
• Define and track QA KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach junior QA engineers on best practices, shift-left testing, and test architecture design.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites for web, API, and mobile SaaS platforms using industry-standard frameworks.
• Own end-to-end test strategy—functional, regression, integration, and performance—for core product modules and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with developers in CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality gates, reduce escape defects, and accelerate release cycles.
• Lead exploratory testing sessions to uncover edge cases, usability flaws, and security gaps missed by automation.
• Define and track QA KPIs (test coverage, defect escape rate, automation ROI) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach junior QA engineers on best practices, shift-left testing, and test architecture design.
