Persistent in Bengaluru seeks a QA Automation Lead to design and maintain automated test frameworks for large-scale web and cloud-based applications, including OTT workflows.

You will drive API/UI tests, integrate with CI/CD, and apply AI-assisted QA methods while collaborating with dev, product, and DevOps teams to improve release quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Test Automation for web applications and REST APIs.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, or JUnit.
• Deep understanding of video streaming technologies including DASH, HLS, MPEG-4, Widevine, and FairPlay.
• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, databases, operating systems, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies, AI-assisted QA automation, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
