Job summary

Persistent is seeking a Manual QA Engineer in Pune with 2–5 years of testing experience. You will manually test web and mobile applications, design and execute test cases, and work with JIRA/Zephyr to manage defects.

A hybrid work setup is available, with emphasis on collaboration across development and product teams to deliver high-quality software. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, understands SDLC/STLC, and can contribute to test planning and requirement analysis in an Agile

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong knowledge of website and mobile application testing.
• Hands-on experience in functional and regression testing.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA and Zephyr.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
• Experience in preparing test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.
• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Accessibility Testing.
• Exposure to AI Agents and AI-driven testing concepts.
