Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Bengaluru seeks a senior Quality Engineering professional with 8–18 years of experience to lead functional testing, agile product development, and test automation using Playwright or Cypress. You will drive performance/load testing with JMeter/Locust/K6, define quality metrics, and collaborate with product teams, developers, and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong Java/TypeScript and some Python skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–18 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• Strong in functional testing and Agile product development.
• Automation framework development with Playwright or Cypress (must).
• Performance and load testing using K6, Locust or JMeter (must).
• Deriving quality metrics: test coverage, test effectiveness, defect metrics.
• CI/CD knowledge, TDD, contract testing.
• Agentic AI testing: AI framework testing or using AI tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with product owners, developers and teams.
• Primary: Java, TypeScript/JavaScript; Secondary: Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation framework development using Playwright or Cypress.
• Oversee performance and load testing with K6/Locust/JMeter.
• Define and derive QA metrics: test coverage, effectiveness, defect density/leakage.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers and QA teams within CI/CD and Agile.

Job description

• Automation Framework development and implementation in any of the skills Playwright or Cypress. - Must (Let us not consider Selenium profiles)
