Job summary

Vensure is seeking a Sr. QA Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for manual and automated testing across multiple projects in Noida and allied cities.

You will lead QA efforts, mentor juniors, and collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps to ensure complete test coverage. You will build and maintain automation scripts using Selenium with Java and Playwright, with Cypress and API testing familiarity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA experience, including automation.
• Hands-on with Selenium Java required; Playwright preferred.
• Experience with API testing (Postman/REST Assured).
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum.
• Ability to mentor juniors and review tests.

Shifts: 01:00 PM - 10:00 PM (5 days a week)

About the Role

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Lead and coordinate QA efforts across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium (Java), Cypress, and Playwright.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and basic security testing.
• Work closely with crossfunctional teams (Product, Development, DevOps) to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps, and ensure timely resolution.
• Review test results, analyze failures, and provide clear reports to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA and testability perspective.
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies, including adoption of modern automation tools like Playwright.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including extensive manual and automation testing experience.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Handson experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as:
• Selenium with Java (Mandatory)
• Cypress (If)
• Playwright (Mandatory)
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
