Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking a Senior QE Lead to drive automation-first quality across cross-functional product teams in Bengaluru. You will embed continuous testing into the SDLC to enable rapid, reliable software delivery.

You will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers on QA best practices, owning end-to-end quality and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in QA or quality engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in test automation with Playwright and Java-Selenium.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement automation frameworks.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions).
• Familiarity with Jira/X-Ray and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ownership mindset and passion for quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive product quality across the delivery lifecycle.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Implement and improve continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines; run automated functional, regression, API, and performance tests.
• Perform performance and load testing with tools like K6, Locust, JMeter.
• Review backlogs to identify risks and prioritize QA activities.
• Diagnose issues across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Define and track quality metrics (automation coverage, defect leakage).
• Mentor engineers on QA best practices and automation; collaborate with product and engineering teams.
