Job summary

Planit Testing India seeks a QA Analyst in Mumbai with 3–5 years of experience to drive end-to-end QA for the NRI PIS application, covering functional, integration, regression and UAT testing.

You will review BRDs/FRDs, design test scenarios, create data, log defects, and support UAT cycles while ensuring adherence to testing standards and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• Be/B.Tech/BCA/MCA or equivalent degree.
• 3–5 years of testing experience with strong functional testing skills.
• Experience in test case design, execution, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review BRDs, FRDs, and user stories; prepare test scenarios and data.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing; validate end-to-end flows.
• Log, track, and retest defects; coordinate with dev/vendor for fixes; ensure timely closure.
• Support UAT; prepare UAT test cases and execution reports; coordinate issue tracking.
• Maintain testing documentation and participate in release readiness reviews.

Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst NRI PIS Application

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 3–5 Years

Role Purpose

To ensure end-to-end quality assurance of the NRI PIS application through functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing support, ensuring a defect-free and compliant solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

• Review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories.
• Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Validate application flows across integrated systems.

Defect Management

• Log, track, and retest defects.
• Coordinate with development and vendor teams for issue resolution.
• Verify defect fixes and conduct regression testing.
• Ensure timely defect closure and reporting.

UAT Support

• Support business users during UAT execution.
• Prepare UAT test cases and execution reports.
• Coordinate issue tracking and resolution during UAT cycles.

Quality Governance

• Ensure adherence to testing standards and processes.
• Maintain testing documentation and evidence.
• Participate in release readiness reviews and production validation activities.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily and weekly testing status reports.
• Track testing progress against project timelines.
• Coordinate with Product, Business, Vendor, Development, and Support teams.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in functional testing and defect management.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and STLC.
• Experience in preparing test cases and execution reports.
• Knowledge of API testing and integration testing.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Trading Platforms, Mutual Funds, or Investment Products.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, DevOps, ALM, or equivalent tools.
• Exposure to automation testing, performance testing and API testing tools such as Postman.

Educational Qualification

• BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA or equivalent degree.
