Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies
• Identify, record, and track bugs through their life cycle; ensure timely resolution
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks
• Perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and security testing
• Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, and automation frameworks
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, guidelines, and industry best practices
• Provide clear and detailed test documentation and reports
• Take complete ownership of product quality, proactively suggesting improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle
• Proficiency in automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar
• Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman/RestAssured)
• Solid understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Jenkins)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-driven, motivated, and capable of working independently as well as in a team

Nice to Have

• Experience in testing FinTech / Banking / Payment systems
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
