Sightspectrum in Pune invites a Data Testing Engineer with 5-12 years of experience to validate data accuracy and integrity across data warehouse, ETL, BI reporting, and cloud data platforms.

The role focuses on SQL-based backend data validation, ETL testing, data reconciliation, and validating dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations to support enterprise analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in data testing and QA for ETL/ELT.
• Strong SQL proficiency and data validation across data warehouses.
• Experience with Hadoop/Hive or cloud data platforms.
• Experience validating BI dashboards and reports.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute Data Testing, ETL Testing, Database Testing and Reporting Validation activities.
• Validate data migration, transformation and loading processes across source and target systems.
• Perform data completeness, consistency, integrity, accuracy and reconciliation testing.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for backend data validation.
• Validate ETL/ELT workflows, business rules, aggregations and transformations.
• Perform Data Warehouse and Data Mart testing.
• Validate BI dashboards, reports, KPIs and visualizations.
• Conduct Big Data testing on Hadoop, Hive, and cloud-based platforms.
• Identify, track and manage defects through defect management tools.
• Create test plans, test cases, test scenarios and test execution reports.
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Support UAT, SIT, Regression Testing and Production Validation activities.

Key Responsibilities
Design and execute Data Testing ETL Testing Database Testing and Reporting Validation activities
