Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Quality Engineering professional to drive data testing and ETL/SQL validation across multiple products.

You will work hands-on with Python/PySpark, Oracle DB and BDD with Cucumber, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab, and coordinate with stakeholders in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data testing experience with Python or PySpark.
• Strong ETL/ETL testing knowledge and SQL proficiency.
• Oracle DB knowledge and ability to read/alter stored procedures.
• Experience with QA in agile environments and Jira.
• Experience implementing BDD with Cucumber in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities for multiple products and manage QA team stakeholders.
• Ensure quality objectives by enforcing policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with QE team and clients in an agile setting.

JOB LOCATION: Bengaluru, Pan India

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Hands-on experience with Data Testing either with Python or Pyspark.
• Deep understanding of data test concepts primarily inclined towards ETL.
• Hands-on with ETL/DWH testing and SQL (any RDBMS)
• Hands-on experience with any DB, preferably Oracle and should be able to read/understand/alter stored procedures.
• Strong experience in BDD with Cucumber or similar framework
• Experience in Azure DevOps to integrating automated testing into a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins or GitLab runner.
• Hands-on experience with one of more programming languages (Java / JavaScript)
• Proven experience and ability to create best practices and policies to improve quality at program level.
• Strong technical skills and ability to solve Quality Engineering technical problems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and should be able to manage client stakeholders and act as a liaison between QE team and clients.
• Experience managing mid-size team of QAs working on multiple products.
• Accomplishes quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Analyze production data to identify areas of growth.
• Excellent data analyzing and review skills.
• Experience of working in an agile environment and the role of QA in agile ceremonies
• Knowledge on Jira
