Job summary

Briskwinit seeks an experienced Python developer to build scalable applications. The role emphasizes REST APIs using FastAPI, RabbitMQ messaging, and ORM work with SQLAlchemy and Alembic. You will write clean, efficient, and tested code, with focus on async programming and performance.

You will also explore AI-assisted coding tools and integrate AI/ML concepts into service delivery, while aligning with modern SDLC and DevOps practices. Bengaluru-based, immediate joiner preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Python development experience.
• REST APIs with FastAPI (preferred).
• RabbitMQ experience preferred.
• SQLAlchemy and Alembic for ORM and migrations.
• Clean, maintainable, high-performance code and unit tests.
• Strong knowledge of Python async, multithreading, multiprocessing, performance optimization.

Job Description:

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong experience in building REST APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks. FastAPI is preferred.
• Strong experience with Message Queue – RabbitMQ is preferred
• Strong experience with ORM frameworks, including SQLAlchemy, and database migration tools such as Alembic.
• Experience in writing clean, maintainable, scalable, high-performance code and unit testing.
• Deep understanding of Python’s multi-threading, multi-processing, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization techniques.
• Hands-on experience in Prompt engineering, vibe coding, using AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar coding assistants.
• Ability to review, validate, and optimize AI-generated code while ensuring maintainability, security, and performance standards.
• Experience and knowledge of SDLC and agile framework. Nice to have skills
• Exposure to modern engineering platforms such as Harness / Specification-Driven Development (SDD).
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI/LLM-based services into applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Experience with Redis or other caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
